Our Director of Music Publications and Editor-in-Chief of the Amy Beach Project, Chris A. Trotman, is responsible for the editing, in some cases transcribing and/or orchestrating, and engraving of all the following editions unless otherwise noted. The revised editions were carefully edited using manuscript sources and are complete with editorial documents, such as a preface, editorial policy, list of sources and critical report. Furthermore, the Amy Beach Project is in cooperation with Amy Beach’s estate executor, The MacDowell Colony.
For more information about purchasing print or digital (PDF) orchestral scores, and purchasing these editions, please contact us using our contact form. Below is more info and stipulations about our orchestral publications:
-
- A print or digital (PDF) orchestral score may be purchased for a specific price depending on the length of each respective work. We require a completed Digital Contract for all digital edition materials, and a link will be provided during correspondence.
- The pricing of our orchestral parts is determined by a sliding scale based on the League of American Orchestras group sizes, and we offer discounted prices for youth and community/amateur orchestras and an additional discount if no admission is charged for your concert(s). We strive to make this wonderful music as accessible as possible for ensembles of all sizes! Our standard string count is 6.6.5.4.4, and additional print string parts are an additional fee per part (this amount varies depending on the length of each publication). Finally, as with the score, we offer the parts in digital (PDF) format for self-printing. Again this option is cheaper than print purchase, and an ensemble would be free to print as many copies as are needed for its concert(s). When contacting us about the rental/purchase of our orchestral parts, please provide the ensemble type and whether or not admission is charged for concerts.
