Amy Beach in Boston

After marrying Mr. H.H.A. Beach, Amy Beach moved to Back Bay East.  You can visit her home at 28 Commonwealth on the Boston Women’s Heritage Trail.  Beach’s home is Number Two on this map.

Beach’s “Gaelic Symphony” was influenced by the rich Irish heritage of the nation, and most certainly in Boston, home to both Beach and a significant Irish community.
