Richmond Philharmonic Orchestra will be playing Amy Beach’s “Gaelic” Symphony in E minor, Op. 32!

As part of their Winter Concert entitled “American Women in Music,” the Richmond Philharmonic Orchestra will be playing Beach’s “Gaelic” Symphony as well as Joan Tower’s “Made in America” and the world premiere of Elena Ruehr’s Concerto for Violin and Orchestra featuring solo violinist Irina Muresanu!

The concert will take place this weekend on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 4:00 pm at the Paul R. Cramer Center for the Arts at The Steward School​. There will be a pre-concert talk with composer Elena Ruehr at 3:00 pm.
