Chintimini Chamber Music Festival Concert Will Feature Songs by Amy Beach, As Well As Works by Rebecca Clarke, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert & Kerry Turner.

Chintimini Chamber Music Festival concert will feature songs, “Chanson d’amour” (1898), Op. 21, No. 1, “A Mirage” (1877), Op. 100, No. 1 & “June” (1903), Op. 51, No. 3 by AMY BEACH, as well as works by Rebecca Clarke, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert & Kerry Turner. The Festival Concert will take place tomorrow, Friday, June 24, 7:30 pm at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 4515 SW West Hills Rd, Corvallis, OR 97333.

Tickets – ADULT ADMISSION: Single concert $24, Season Tickets (all 5 concerts): $95; STUDENTS (Current High School & College) Free with ID. No ticket needed; YOUNGER STUDENTS Free, accompanied by an adult. No ticket needed for the student.

Chintimini Chamber Music Festival 2016

Bar Harbor Music Festival concert will include AMY BEACH’s Piano Trio, Op. 150 and works by other women composers!

Pianist Margaret Mills (pictured below), who spearheaded the festival’s New Composers Concerts from 1990-2006, is joining the festival’s 50th Anniversary Celebration with a program featuring the women composers Ruth Schonthal, Miriam Gideon and Amy Beach. Violinist Jeffrey Ellenberger and cellist Robert Tennen will collaborate with Mills in Beach’s Piano Trio, opus 150.

This special “musical reunion” concert will be on Saturday, July 23, at 8 p.m. at the Bar Harbor Congregational Church, 29 Mount Desert Street, Bar Harbor, ME 04609. Tickets are $25 and student tickets are $15.

An Encore Presentation – Annual Free Senior Concert by the Worcester Chamber Music Society

The event, which is an encore presentation from Season 10, is open to senior citizens throughout Worcester County and will take place on Thursday, June 9 7:15 PM at The Willows at Worcester (101 Barry Road, Worcester, MA). The program will include AMY BEACH’s Theme and Variations for Flute and Strings, Op. 80 & a Brahms String Quartet.
